MadPLL® Instrument Package MadPLL® is a powerful instrument package that allows the user to create an inexpensive, high resolution resonant scanning probe microscope using Mad City Labs nanopositioning systems. The MadPLL® package includes a digital phase lock loop (PLL) controller, software, sensor amplifier board, and resonant probe mounting board. MadPLL® includes five (5) each of the vertical, horizontal, Akiyama, and blank probe boards. In addition, each unit is shipped with five (5) tuning forks. Additional probe boards and tuning forks can be purchased separately.
Nano-SPM200 nanopositioning stage (XY) The Nano-SPM200 is a compact two axis (XY) nanopositioning system constructed from aluminium. Internal position sensors combined with the closed loop Nano-Drive controller to provide sub-nanometre positioning resolution and long term stability. Independent flexure guided motion for each axis provides mechanical isolation and ensures minimum cross-talk between axes. Samples can be mounted in any location on the flat top surface and secured with the four threaded mounting holes.
Nano-OP30 nanopositioning stage (Z) The Nano-OP30 a versatile compact nanopositioners for a wide variety of applications. Internal position sensors utilising proprietary PicoQ® technology provide absolute, repeatable position measurement with picometer accuracy under closed loop control.
3 axis closed loop Nano-Drive® controller The Nano-Drive® controller is a complete electronic package for sub-nanometre positioning. Low noise, low drift amplifiers provide absolute position control and bandwidth selection with closed loop feedback ensuring that the displacement as a function of input voltage is highly linear and free of positioning errors caused by inherent creep and hysteresis in the piezoactuators.
