Correlative Raman and scanning near-field optical microscope
WITec alpha300 RS Raman SNOM Microscope
Features
- Combines alpha300 R (Raman) and alpha300 S (SNOM) into one microscope
- Ideally suited for combined techniques such as near-field Raman imaging
- Moving the sample between the measurements not necessary
- Switch between the measurement techniques by rotating the objective turret
- SNOM provides high-resolution surface imaging...
- ...Raman delivers chemical imaging of the same surface
A challenging experimental requirement is no match for the alpha300 RS from WITec. Combining confocal Raman with Scanning Near-field Optical Microscopy (SNOM) for optical imaging with resolution beyond the diffraction limit, this microscope has all features of the alpha300 S and alpha300 R, plus many AFM operation modes too. It is also ideally suited for other high-resolution Raman imaging techniques such as nearfield-Raman imaging.
Topography image of exfoliated graphene simultaneously determined during the nearfield-Raman measurement with corresponding topography curve measured along the blue line, and nearfield-Raman image of the same sample area of the G-band intensity with corresponding intensity graph measured along the red line.
