Single to quad channel multi-purpose fibre optic thermometer
The Neoptix™ Reflex™ is a multi-purpose fibre optic temperature thermometer that can have up to 4-channel capability. This allows the user to take several temperature measurements for better information on industrial processes. The fibre optic temperature measurement system, based on proven GaAs technology, is designed to meet laboratory requirements but is also well adapted to industrial environments.
An original algorithm is used to analyse an optical signal from the probe tip and provide the user a repetitive and reproducible measurement. Easy to interface to an existing system via either its analogue output or the RS-232 communication interface, the Reflex becomes essential laboratory equipment when used with the optional Neoptix "Assistant" software.
Sensor immunity to electromagnetic interference and harsh environments makes this technology very advantageous compared to traditional sensors. Fibre optics are made of non-conductive material and are therefore inherently immune to EMI and/or RFI interference.
Well adapted to laboratory and industrial environments, the accuracy and high degree of sensitivity to temperature changes makes it a natural choice for laboratory and industrial requirements.
The rugged splash-proof enclosure is designed to withstand the most punishing industrial environments. For industrial needs, three Reflex units can be installed together on a special 19" rack-mounted plate to monitor up to 12 probes simultaneously. Neoptix sensors are interchangeable and do not require calibration.
