LCOS Kits
We are now offering a range of displays and board-level developer kits from HOLOEYE for reflective monochrome or colour field sequential (CFS) Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) microdisplays. LCOS technology is highly scalable, can modulate amplitude, polarisation and phase, and can create very small pixels making them ideal for laser projection. HOLOEYE's open technology platform allows adaptation of LCOS for a variety of applications.
The kits are programmable via the RS-232 interface, and can be configured according to your specific requirements with the provided software. Gamma control enables setting of different EO responses of the microdisplay to fit certain needs.
The signal is addressed via a standard DVI (Digital Visual Interface) signal e.g. by a PC's graphics card or media player for standalone applications. Basically, the LCOS display works like an extended monitor. These plug and play kits allow a quick start-up and easy usage.
