In this paper, the investigation in transmission mode of high aspect-ratio corner cubes and similar both-sides-structured samples is illustrated. By using immersion liquids to suppress the unwanted side, non-contact real-time 3D topography measurements can be made in transmission using digital holographic microscopy.
