MX1641 Series Micromanipulator
With spring-loaded lead screws ensure drift-free operation, the MX1641 series crossed roller micromanipulator is ideal for introductory level research and training.
The 40 TPI screw drive delivers smooth motion in the X, Y and Z axes, while the motorised probe axis can be adjusted to the desired angle anywhere between 0 and 180°. The micromanipulator is supplied with Siskiyou's MXC-45 holder with built-in rotational stop to allow for easy pipette replacement.
Using Siskiyou e or MC2010 closed loop controllers, the MX1641 can deliver 0.2 µm and 0.1 µm resolution respectively. Repeated or relative positioning can be achieved by using a DR1000 that supplies a digital readout of the motor's encoder output.
All cables are shielded to ensure noise-free operation during sensitive electrophysiology experiments.
