A range of dovetail slide 4-axis manipulators for life scientists
MX10 Series
The MX10 series is a miniature micromanipulator that is ideal for positioning applications that require micron-scale resolution.
Siskiyou's miniature dovetail slides use a precision rolled 80 TPI lead screw for smooth positioning along their entire travel, and the adjustable spring-loaded gib design nsures stability and straightness of travel. It also works as a locking mechanism. The device is also equipped with a fourth axis which can be set at any angle through 360° of motion.
The compact size of the MX10 makes it ideal for stimulator applications, and the mounting method makes removal and replacement very straightforward. The addition of a simple stop allows repeatable placement..

MX10 Hydraulic Models
The MX10 Hydraulic is a miniature micromanipulator that is ideal for positioning applications that require submicron level resolution.
In this design, Siskiyou have combined their DT-100 series stages with the MX610 single-axis hydraulic manipulator. This combination enables the experimenter to use the fine positioning accuracy of the dovetail stage to get close to the desired location and then use the submicron resolution of the hydraulic stage to make the final adjustment.
The hydraulic stage offers 5 mm of linear approach on the probe axis, and can be set at any angle through 360° of motion. The compact size of this stage makes it ideal for stimulator applications, puffer pipettes or micro-injection set-ups.
The stage is available in left or right-hand configuration, and Siskiyou guarantee the hydraulic mechanism for two years.
Siskiyou Corporation has been producing popular laboratory mechanicals for over 40 years; designing from the outset with quality and flexibility in mind.
Siskiyou do not aim at single disciplines, such as Photonics or Life Sciences, but craft their products to provide end users with the modular tools for constructing systems that are only limited by their imagination.
These concepts have ensured Siskiyou components outperform and outlast competitive products.
